The Zyliss electric peeler was given to me as a gift. I used it with some reservation to discover it was a fabulous tool and one of the favorites in my kitchen drawer. I use it always to quickly peel carrots or potatoes, etc. I recently gave a Zyliss peeler as a gift to a friend. She called with rave reviews to say she used it to shave parmesan. I enthusiastically recommend the Zyliss electric peeler. This battery powered tool is well worth the money.

This peeler is slow with all produce and is useless with the hard to peel items like squash for which we bought this product. Its much cheaper easier and faster to use a regular non electric peeler.
The return policy of the company is that you can't return it if you've used it. I guess they know that they'll all get returned when people try them out.
Do not waste your money on this piece of junk.
