It is completely useless. While it has the appearance of a quality appliance, it doesn't grate, I need it to grate parmigiano and after placing a few pieces of the cheese it the little drawer with a great deal of noise and effort a dusting of cheese comes out, it takes minutes for just a teaspoon of cheese. I can grate ten times the amount with a hand held grater.

Despite its stainless steel body the motor is of very poor quality and died within a few months of routine, 1-2 /week, in-home use. The worse performance of any electric grinder we've had over the past few years. I've had 2 Delonghi and both lasted a couple of YEARS no just a few MONTHS!
