great productAugust 9, 2010 Charles This is a fantastic box grater. The construction is solid, the cutting surfaces adequate in size, and it's sharp. We grate a lot of cheese and use our grater a often. Both my wife and I noticed immediately how well this one works. The non-slip gasket around the bottom lip makes it very steady during use and the little box with cap makes storing any extra cheese a snap, although we almost never have any! The easy grip handle is very comfortable to hold. It is a pretty simple device so it is hard to wax poetic, but this is an excellent product. I am quickly becoming a big fan of Oxo kitchen tools.

Good graterJune 28, 2010 Mrs. J(La Mesa, CA) This just arrived and worked well with parmesan cheese. You will still need to grate over a plate (even when using the measuring box) because some of the cheese will still fly off the grater and onto the counter. I suppose that could be a slight problem with measuring but as long as you don't mind tossing all that in at the end I suppose it's fine. It doesn't make me personally regret the purchase at all. Nothing is perfect and I can't imagine a design that would eliminate that without being twice as large, which I wouldn't want. I like the quality feel and it is a lovely grater.

Great Cheese Grater!April 22, 2010 Wanda(Idaho) I have used this grater for several months now and I love it. When I grate cheese I put a paper plate under the grater to catch what does not go into the plastic box, most of it goes into the box, and what doesn't I use on the meal at hand. I found that if you grate the cheese a slower pace most of it will go into the box. I store the rest in the plastic box in the frig and it will keep for several days and not get hard. Highly recommend this grater!
